He may have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons over the last year or so but after an 8 month absence Nile Ranger was back in a black and white shirt last night as the reserves took on Sunderland.And it took him just 8 minutes to find the back of the net putting us ahead in a game we eventually drew 2-2 as a last gasp equaliser stopped Brad Inman's goal clinching us a win.Mixed feeling on the return of Ranger really. I think he has used up all of his chances at the club but I suppose if he is fit and turning up to training on time and working hard then we may as well be making use of him so that he is at least going some way to earning his wages.I don't think he will be able to do enough to get himself back near the first team picture but then again you never know - football is a funny old game.If he could turn his career around again and do that then it would be some story.
