Don't really want to comment on it too much to give the impression that it actually bothers me but I am sure most people have seen Alex Ferguson's comments today about Newcastle and manager Alan Pardew. It comes after the game on Boxing Day where Ferguson spent most of the game harassing the officials to try and influence them yet the referee and the FA have decided not to do anything about.Pardew insisted that it wasn't really acceptable which I think pretty much everyone outside of Old Trafford can see is pretty spot on but Fergie unsurprisingly didn't agree. He launched into a tirade about how Pardew was a hypocrite after pushing an official earlier in the season and how Newcastle were just a "Wee Club in the North East".Firstly I am not sure how he can call Alan Pardew a hypocrite - he openly came out and admitted he was in the wrong and took the subsequent punishment. No idea what the size of club has to do with things either - he seemed to be implying that people were only bothered about this because it was Manchester United who are apparently the largest club on the planet blah blah blah etc (guess the senile old fool keeps forgetting Barcelona and Real Madrid to name two exist).Think it just goes to show us what we all knew already, that although he may be a great manager he is a classless, bitter and blinkered individual. What he did on Wednesday just makes a mockery of the whole respect campaign the FA rammed down everyone's throats and goes to show that they and the referees are scared to do anything against him or Manchester United in general.I expect managers to defend and stick up for their club but what he did on Wednesday was an absolute disgrace.Slag us off all you want Alex, it just makes you look even more of an idiot. The sooner he retires (or some may even say croaks it) the better for football. I hope Pardew doesn't even dignify this rubbish with an answer.
